IANNIS XENAKIS
Iannis Xenakis was an uncompromising personality, highly individual and always controversial: his music invokes strong reactions in the listener and speaks of the vital and brilliant intellect behind it. Xenakis fought in the Greek civil war before moving to Paris to work as an architect and engineer. He passed away in February 2001.
